FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August 7, 2025 — Provo, UT
Mithril Mining Corp, an American owned and operation critical mineral exploration and development company developing two high-grade tungsten projects in the United States, is pleased to highlight its strategic collaboration with Rockland Resources Ltd. (“Rockland”) as outlined in Rockland’s August 6, 2025 news release on its Utah beryllium portfolio. The announcement formalizes Mithril’s emerging role as a processing and technical partner for advanced critical mineral projects in the Great Basin—an important milestone in Mithril’s evolution from explorer to integrated critical minerals developer.
As referenced in the Rockland release, Mithril Mining—through its partnership with Utah-based Hinkinite Resources—has acquired a tungsten processing facility in Tooele County, Utah, which historically processed approximately 275 tons of tungsten concentrate as recently as 2017. The facility benefits from established power, water, road access, and proximity to rail, and is located roughly 40 kilometers north of Rockland’s Meteor critical minerals property, positioning it as a natural processing hub for regional projects.
The planned rehabilitation and modernization of this facility is central to Mithril Mining’s development strategy. By upgrading the plant to handle a broader suite of critical minerals—including tungsten, beryllium and associated by-product metals—Mithril aims to establish a hub-and-spoke processing model that serves both its own properties and aligned third-party projects. Early-stage technical dialogue with Rockland provides Mithril with high-quality geological and metallurgical engagement while demonstrating to government, investors, and industrial partners that regional collaboration can reduce permitting risk, compress timelines, and enable domestic midstream capacity that currently does not exist at scale in the U.S.
“For Mithril, this is exactly the kind of aligned partnership that validates our long-term vision,” said Taylor Sulik, President of Mithril Mining Corp. “Our goal is not just to discover critical mineral deposits, but to help build the processing backbone that keeps those materials, that value, and that security here in the United States. Working alongside a serious operator like Rockland showcases how our Tooele County facility can become a regional engine for American supply chain resilience.”
This arrangement supports Mithril Mining’s broader engagement with U.S. defense and industrial base stakeholders, including consortiums and programs focused on reshoring critical mineral extraction, refining, and component manufacturing. As Mithril advances engineering, permitting, and partnership work on the Tooele facility, collaborations such as the one with Rockland are expected to:
- Demonstrate real-world demand for a regional processing hub.
- Strengthen Mithril’s technical and commercial case for federal and state support.
- Enhance optionality for Mithril’s shareholders through tolling, JV, and offtake opportunities.
- Position Mithril as a strategic node in the U.S. critical minerals value chain—linking mine projects, advanced processing, and defense-grade end users.
