High-Resolution Survey Confirms More Than 176,000 Cubic Meters of Historical Surface Material and Establishes Critical Baseline Data for Future Development

BEAVERHEAD COUNTY, MONTANA — Mithril Mining Corp. has completed a high-resolution LiDAR survey and volumetric analysis program at its historic Calvert Tungsten Mine in Beaverhead County, Montana, generating verified data on historical surface material and establishing a technical baseline for future project evaluation.
Conducted on May 12, 2026, in partnership with the University of Montana’s Autonomous Aerial Systems Office, the survey utilized advanced LiDAR technology and aerial imaging to generate detailed topographic models, calculate historical surface material volumes, and establish a verified digital baseline of the project area.
The survey identified an estimated net volume of approximately 176,953 cubic meters of historical surface material across multiple targeted areas, including approximately 103,721 cubic meters within the primary surface material area.
The survey was conducted using a WingtraOne GEN II unmanned aerial platform equipped with LiDAR and high-resolution imaging sensors. Spatial accuracy was achieved through a Post-Processed Kinematic (PPK) workflow utilizing an on-site Topcon TPSHiper SR base station, resulting in high-resolution terrain models, orthomosaic mapping, volumetric measurements, and three-dimensional digital site models.

The survey was specifically designed to evaluate historical surface material areas and generate precise volumetric measurements. In addition to the volumetric analysis, the project delivered comprehensive geospatial datasets, including digital terrain models, point clouds, orthomosaic imagery, and GIS-compatible mapping products.
The resulting data will be incorporated into Mithril’s ongoing evaluation of historical mine materials and broader development planning at Calvert, one of the highest-grade historic tungsten deposits in the United States. From here, additional mapping and assay data is expected over the next few weeks, with the goal of working towards developing a better understanding of the surface material potential.

The completion of the LiDAR survey follows recent federal and state permitting milestones that allow Mithril to commence Phase 1 operations focused on historical surface material evaluation and testing at the Calvert Tungsten Mine.
